We are looking for the a Next-Generation Pastor who can lead our children and youth programs at the church. This influential person will have the opportunity to impact he Kingdom of God at a local level as he or she helps parents guide their children into deeper faith.
Current Sermon Series
The Holy Spirit: Presence. Purpose. Power.
This series explores the work of the Holy Spirit through the lens of presence, purpose, and power. From the opening lines of Scripture, the Spirit is not absent but active—hovering over the waters, bringing order from chaos and life from nothing. Throughout the biblical story, God’s Spirit consistently draws near to dwell with His people, revealing His presence not as abstract, but personal and transformative. The Spirit also gives purpose, calling and shaping individuals and communities to participate in God’s mission in the world. Finally, the Spirit empowers—equipping ordinary people with divine strength to accomplish what they could not do on their own. This series traces that unified thread from creation to the church, showing that the same Spirit who formed the world is still forming and filling God’s people today.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
We believe kids learn more about God when they’re experiencing Jesus in a way they can understand and enjoy. Our ministry offers kids of all ages a safe, gospel-centered environment created just for them.
STUDENT MINISTRY
IMPACT Student ministry is a space for 6th-12th grade students to make friends, have fun, and learn about Jesus together!

From Lead Pastor, Jonathan Willmore
Welcome to New Lisbon Christian Church! My name is Jonathan Willmore, and I’m grateful you’ve taken a moment to visit our page. We are a church committed to loving God, loving others, and making disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe the gospel changes lives and that the church is a place where people of every age and background can find hope, belonging, and purpose. Whether you have followed Jesus for years or are simply exploring faith, there is a place for you here. We would love the opportunity to meet you and invite you to join us this Sunday.
Jonathan served New Lisbon Christian Church for more than a decade prior to becoming Lead Pastor. He began his ministry at NLCC as the Discipleship Minister, where he faithfully preached, taught classes, led small groups, and shepherded the congregation. Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Preaching from Johnson University in 2009, his Master of Divinity from Cincinnati Christian University in 2014, and his Doctor of Ministry from Lipscomb University in 2026.
Jonathan and his wife, Erica, have three children who have grown up as part of the NLCC family. In 2023, the congregation affirmed Jonathan as the church’s next Senior Minister, and he officially assumed that role on July 1, 2025. He is passionate about helping people love God, love others, and grow as disciples of Jesus Christ - and the University of Michigan Sports.
