SENIOR MINISTER TRANSITION

After 24 years of dedicated service, Senior Minister Mark Lomison is retiring, leaving a lasting impact on our church. His leadership, faith, and kindness have guided our congregation, and we are deeply grateful for his devotion. Mark and, and his wife Margie, have loved our congregation and we wish them well on this new journey. We will celebrate his retirement on the last Sunday of June, honoring his incredible ministry.

Jonathan Willmore has served our congregation for ten years as the Discipleship Minister. During that time he has filled-in preached, taught classes, led groups, and ministered to the church. He received his BA in Bible and Preaching from Johnson University in 2009, a MDiv from Cincinnati Christian University in 2014, and is currently working on a DMin from Lipscomb. He and his wife, Erica, have three children who have grown up with us at NLCC. He was affirmed as the next Senior Minister in 2023, and He will officially assume the role on July 1. We look forward to this new chapter with excitement and hope.

As we journey together, we prepare our hearts for the ultimate celebration—Easter Sunday—when we rejoice in the victory of the risen Christ.
