We partner with a number of ministries in Henry County to help out residents in need. Here are a few:

Housing:

  • Women's Home -
    • The Christian Love Help Shelter Home Homeless Shelter was established in 1985. Located at 418 S. 18th Street in New Castle, this is the only homeless shelter in Henry County.The shelter sleeps a maximum of 15 people and is most often at capacity.The shelter is not a walk-in shelter.People who wish to stay at the shelter must fill out an application and submit a criminal background check (provided at no charge by The Henry County Sheriff's Department).

    • They provide free meals on Tuesdays in the afternoon. 

The leadership of the church decides who and how to help on a case by case basis depending upon the need. We are prepared to help in the following areas. 

Ministry:

• • Talking to you about salvation and why you matter to God
  • Praying with you/for you for a particular need.
  • Baptism Counseling - Giving your life to Jesus.
  • Spiritual Counseling - Helping you make decisions that are honoring to God.
  • Financial Counseling - We are happy to work with you and your finances to bring you to financial peace. We can counsel you and train you to make financial decisions that honor God and set you up for success. If you require financial assistance, which requires an application, a copy of your driver's license or government issued ID, and approval by our Benevolence team.
