Jonathan and his wife, Erica, began working with us as the Discipleship Minister in January of 2015. At that time, they only had Hannah, who was nine months old. Now they have added to their family, Charles and Jack. Jonathan earned is BA in Biblical Studies and Church Leadership from Johnson University in 2009. He completed his Master of Divinity from Cincinnati Christian University in 2014 and is working on his Doctor of Ministry at Lipscomb University. He became our Lead Pastor after his Predecessor, Mark Lomison, retired in June of 2025. Jonathan comes to us from Cincinnati, Ohio. And despite being born a Buckeye, he is an avid Michigan fan. He also enjoys woodworking, sailing, the outdoors, movies, and compelling stories. Most of all, his mission is to make disciples who can make disciples.
