Children

Your Children are welcome to stay with you during your weekend visit. However, if you'd like we have child programing for children from 1 year old to High School. You can see on the map below where your child will go. If you need to take care of an infant, we have a parent infant care room just down the hall from the worship center.

StudyGroups

We have StudyGroups on Sunday Mornings from 9 - 10:15AM but we also have StudyGroup Electives and seminars that are offered during various seasons on Monday evenings. Check out the information center at the back of the worship center for studies, times, and location.

WorshipService

Worship begins at 10:30AM. Our service is a contemporary worship style led by Sherry Willis. If you wish to participate in Communion you will need to get it from the back. It comes in two cups stacked together. Mark Lomison is our Lead minister and preacher. Jonathan Willmore, our Associate Minister of Discipleship, also preaches on occasion. The Service lasts between an hour and an hour and fifteen minutes.

The Hub

This is an online information center. Go to the hub to get the latest information about our church like announcements and sign-ups. It is the one stop for all of your NLCC needs. TAKE ME TO THE HUB!

Meet Pastor Jonathan Willmore

Welcome to NLCC. We are thankful you have been led to this place. If you have visited with us already, we hope it was warm and friendly and made you feel at home. Everyone is welcome here regardless of where they’ve been, their present circumstance, or whatever situation you currently find yourself in.

NLCC is a place where you can worship in a relaxed atmosphere, hear biblical preaching, share with others in studying God’s word, and share your lives with others in fellowship and service.

We also have focused ministry to children and students, believing that our children and youth are the future of the church. Therefore by investing early in the teaching and nurturing of these young lives will not only assist in the molding of their lives but strengthen our church families as well. Understanding that every child and student has different needs, we provide safe age-appropriate ministry for the various age groups. Our staff and volunteers will love your children. From our experience, within a short time, your children and students will love them too. We hope you’ll come see.

Groups Ministry

PointGroups

If you'd like to learn more about us, we have Next Steps Groups called PointGroups. We begin by having lunch with the leaders and others from the church so you can get better acquainted, then we offer StartingPoint, an hour long gathering over lunch again. We let you know the basics about what we offer at NLCC. Next, we offer WayPoint. This is a four-week series to help you see our views on God's story, Jesus' story, the church's story, and how your story can fit in God's plan.

StudyGroups

StudyGroups are for Going deeper together. They are groups that emphasis biblical fidelity. We believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God. Therefore, we treat God's word with respect and seek to better understand the truths it reveals. They are also for fellowship. The groups care for those involved, ministering to one another through prayer and encouragement. And we recognize that one size does not fit all. Therefore, various types of groups are offered with new topics every semester. They meet Sunday Mornings and Monday Evenings.

NeighborhoodGroups

Neighborhood Groups are about demonstrating God's love together. They are family centered. All children are welcome, so there is no need to worry about child care. Just bring them with you. Neighborhood Groups are relational environments in homes or local venues where people care about you and your life. Finally, they are for doing Kingdom Works, which means showing others the love of God through service, gifts, donations, prayer, and acts of kindness. Follow the link for more information.

TransformationGroups

TransformationGroups are about furthering your journey with Jesus under the guidance of a mature believer. We want to help you grow in your faith and to better obey the commands of the Great Commission and the Great Commandments. This group is designed to help you be better.
