Will you walk with us on this journey?

Our trip begins with this series. We want to be faithful to God with everything he has given us which includes the next generation of the church. We want to provide a space for them that is safe, clean, and engaging. In order to do that, we need to add usable floor space to our existing building. In November we had a congregational meeting to present to the church the plans for a new education wing for our youth and children. Some of the images you can find below. We hope that you will join us on this journey of not only constructing a new building but also investing in the church of tomorrow, today.

Four Weeks

Find Us Faithful - Feb. 23rd

We are centering this series around the "Shema" of the Old Testament, which is known in the New Testament as the greatest commandment from Deuteronomy 6:4-5

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

God's Faithfulness - Mar. 1st

We want to talk about God's faithfulness to our children, family, and friends. Let us share the stories from our own lives about how God is doing amazing things in the world through His power and His people.

Love the Lord - Mar. 8th

The passage of the Shema goes on to say "Tie" this on your wrist. So this week, that is what we will be practicing. May we be faithful to the Lord through love. This love is with all our heart, soul, and strength.

Relying Upon the Lord - Mar. 15th

This week we will witness how New Lisbon has been faithful through the eyes of the people of this church. We want to pass on a legacy of faithfulness. Afterward, we will have an opportunity to practice Deut. 6:6 "Write it on your door frames."

Weekly Engagement

"7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."

Impress

Talk

Tie

Write

Either following or during the service each week, there will be a way for you to get involved with our journey. Because there are four commands in the "Shema" (Deut. 6:4-6 passage), we want to put those into practice. So each family unit will have the opportunity to observe what God has asked his children to do and it centers around these four actions, Impress, Talk, Tie, and Write. Come and find out what we have in store.
