When the Women's ministry team sat down to plan for the coming year, we knew that service was an important part of our mission, yet we also wanted to be mindful of the other Kingdom Work already scheduled on the church's calendar. Upon listing out ways that we are invited to give our time and resources, we quickly realized that perhaps encouraging the ladies of the church to find ways to personally reach out and bless someone around them would fill a needed gap. This could be something as simple as sending someone a "thinking of you" card, dropping off a meal to a new neighbor, or making time to visit those who cannot get out. Truly, the opportunities are endless! All of this to say, that while the coordinated Kingdom work specific to this ministry will be limited at this time, we instead ask that you prayerfully consider how you can demonstrate God's love to those on your heart on an ongoing basis.

shortly after moving to Henry County in 2007, Emily, along with husband Kyle, were invited to NLCC and have been here ever since. With four children and a farm now, there is not a lot of downtime, but when the opportunity arises, she enjoys checking out new restaurants and coffee shops as well as being in the kitchen and trying her hand at various craft projects.

Jenny moved to Lewisville in March of 96 (with a 2 1/2-year-old and a 10-day old baby in tow) so her husband, Gary, could begin his associate ministry position at NLCC. Jenny is passionate about her family (including two sweet grandchildren) and leading a healthy lifestyle through exercise, essential oils, and the healing foods that God created.
